This describes fridgeplans.com as it works today. Features that are not connected (ads, email signup, payments, analytics IDs) are listed as not present — not as active collection.

Meal planner, chores, and personalization

Meal selections, chore inputs, family title, accent color, and an optional photo you choose stay in your browser for printing and shopping mode. The personalization photo is not uploaded by the planner UI. Shopping mode can use browser storage / service worker caching so a checklist works offline on your phone.

Scan my kitchen

Configuration is in scan-config.js.

• If workerUrl is empty (current public build), scanning runs in demo mode and does not call a live vision proxy.
• If a worker URL is configured later, photos you choose to scan may be sent once to that proxy for ingredient detection. Site copy states photos are not stored after the scan; re-verify after any worker launch.
• A free-scan counter may be kept in localStorage on your device.

What we do not collect yet

• No account signup.
• No email newsletter connected.
• No advertising or affiliate tracking connected.
• No Google Analytics / GA4 measurement ID in this build.
• No payment processor connected (upgrade CTAs are placeholders only).

Hosting

Cloudflare Pages/CDN may process standard request logs to deliver the site.

Children

Chore charts may list kids' first names that you type. That data stays in your browser unless you share a page screenshot or printout yourself. The site is for parents/caregivers, not for children to create accounts (there are no accounts).
